Professional employer organization Oasis Outsourcing announced Joel Steigelfest joined the firm as executive VP and chief information officer. He is based in the company’s West Palm Beach headquarters and is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive IT strategy.

Steigelfest has more than 25 years of information technology management and strategy experience. Prior to joining Oasis, he spent more than five years at Cross Country Home Services as its CIO. He also previously was CIO at Spherion Corp.

“Joel is a skilled IT professional with a proven track record of success evaluating and implementing strategic IT programs,” said President and CEO Mark Perlberg. “He will be the key architect in enriching the Oasis ‘technology advantage’ and leading all other aspects of this critical component of our business.”

Founded in 1996, Oasis serves almost 6,000 clients and 200,000 worksite employees.
