NSC Technologies acquired Staff Matters Inc., a staffing firm with offices in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

NSC is a portfolio company of White Wolf Capital LLC, a Miami-based private equity firm.

“The addition of Staff Matters helps broaden NSC’s footprint in the Western US, and specifically in Arizona,” said Richard Leggio, VP at White Wolf Capital.

Staff Matters was founded in 2010 by Garrett Kowalewski; it serves a variety of verticals.

The acquiring company, NSC, was founded in 2000 by Paul Rodriguez, and White Wolf Capital recapitalized the firm in November 2016. NSC is based in Portsmouth, Virginia, and specializes in the marine, energy, commercial and industrial marketplaces.

Last May, NSC also acquired two Indiana-based staffing companies: Staffing Resources Inc. and ULG LLC.
