Mexico economy posts fastest quarterly growth in two years (Reuters)

November 23, 2016

Reuters reports Mexico’s economy posted its fastest growth in more than two years as services picked up by the most since 2011 even as industrial output was sluggish, official data showed on Wednesday. Gross domestic product grew by 1.0% in the third quarter compared with the prior quarter, according to seasonally adjusted data from Mexico’s statistics agency, in-line with estimates in a Reuters poll. It was the fastest quarterly expansion since the second quarter of 2014.
