Medical Solutions announced today that it closed on its acquisition of C&A Industries on Monday. Both Medical Solutions and C&A Industries rank among the largest healthcare staffing providers in the US; C&A also includes other staffing business lines.

“We have a remarkable opportunity ahead of us as we join our two companies together, enabling us to provide an even more comprehensive service offering and increase the differentiating value we provide our customers,” said Craig Meier, CEO of Medical Solutions.

Meier said the acquisition will also provide employees with greater opportunities for growth.

Medical Solutions ranks as the fifth-largest US healthcare staffing firm while C&A’s Aureus Medical Staffing Group division ranks as the eighth largest. Both are companies are based in Omaha, Nebraska.

The acquisition was first announced in August. No additional terms were announced today.

Medical Solutions’ acquisition of C&A Industries follows its February 2018 acquisition of PPR, a provider of travel nurse staffing and interim leadership solutions. Private equity firm TPG Growth acquired a majority stake in Medical Solutions in 2017.
