MSX International promotes Geometric Results exec to CEO, makes other leadership changes

May 29, 2018

MSX International, which operates managed service provider Geometric Results Inc. as well as other business lines aimed at the automotive industry, promoted Art Knapp to CEO of Geometric Results from his previous role of president. Knapp has been with GRI since its inception in 2014, and is included in Staffing Industry Analysts’ Staffing 100 list of the most influential people in the staffing industry.

In addition, MSX International appointed Patrick Katenkamp as CEO of its automotive services provider Retail Network Solutions, effective immediately. Katenkamp has more than two decades of experience in the technology, software and automotive industries. He most recently was president of Software International at Cox Automotive and CEO of incadea, a Cox Automotive software solutions brand.

Knapp and Katenkamp both will report to Fred Minturn, who takes a new role as group CEO and executive chairman from his previous role of president and CEO of MSXI and interim CEO of Retail Network Solutions.

Detroit-based MSX International, which acquired the MSP operations of VMS provider IQN in 2014, was acquired last year by Bain Capital Private Equity.
