MSP and RPO provider Pontoon names COO, realigns operations

February 02, 2017

Pontoon, the global HR outsourcing brand for Adecco Group, announced a new COO and other executive changes as well as a realignment of its global operations model around the concepts of “global” and “total talent,” breaking away from operating silos of “MSP” and “RPO.”

As part of the new structure, Mike Drolet will assume the newly created role of COO for Pontoon, where he will bring together all operational aspects of MSP and RPO under a single global team. Drolet previously served as executive VP, global head of RPO, for Pontoon since August 2014.

Lydia Wilson and Karin Selfors-Thomann also expand their current roles.

Wilson, executive VP of program management at Pontoon since August 2015, will take ownership of all MSP and RPO program management for the Americas and global clients. Wilson joined Pontoon in 2010 as senior VP, global business development.

Selfors-Thomann, Pontoon’s executive VP of sales, will lead the integration of the sales and business development approaches for the Americas and global clients. She joined Adecco in 2008 as senior VP, head of investor relations. Selfors-Thomann assumed the role of senior VP, head of business development MSP at Pontoon in June 2013, and has served in her current role at Pontoon since September 2016.

“The talent industry is continually evolving, and we too must move forward to maintain our position as the leading global total talent advisor,” Pontoon President Mike Wachholz said. “Pontoon provides talent solutions on a global scale, and it is essential that we refine our current operating model, so we can continue to bring together the best people with the world’s best companies. Our clients require a more forward-thinking approach to their talent strategy, and this new structure supports their needs.”
