Lyft sues over New York’s minimum wage law for drivers (CNN)

January 31, 2019

Human cloud, ride-sharing firm Lyft has filed a lawsuit to block a driver minimum wage law put in place by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission, CNN reported. The law is set to go in effect on Feb. 1 and provide drivers with a take-home wage of $17.22 per hour. Lyft told CNN that its lawsuit does not target the law but rather the way the Taxi and Limousine Commission is implementing it.
