August 14, 2017

H. Britt Landrum Jr. is stepping down from the CEO role at LandrumHR, a Pensacola, Fla.-based staffing and PEO services provider. Landrum founded the company in 1970 with only one employee; LandrumHR now has six offices, 180 staff members and worksite employees in 48 states.

Landrum Jr. will remain chairman, but his son, H. Britt Landrum III, will take the reins as CEO. Landrum III is in his 25th year at the company and has served as president since last year. In addition, Landrum III has held other roles at the firm, including VP and chief technology officer. He is a Microsoft certified systems engineer.

“Britt has served ably as president and set an exciting new vision for the company,” Landrum Jr. said in a statement. “He has assembled a strong leadership team and made a key appointment to our advisory board.”

Landrum III is also on the board of directors of the National Association of Professional Employment Organizations.
