Kelly Services Inc. (NASD: KELYA) added its first UK online talent platform partner, Elevate Direct, to its outsourcing and consulting group, KellyOCG. Freelancer management system Elevate Direct is headquartered in London.

The online talent platform component within KellyOCG’s talent supply chain has grown from one company in 2013 to nearly a dozen communities today. 

Established in 2010, the Elevate FMS works with contractors, freelancers and contingent workers, and businesses, to identify and match talent for specific staffing needs.

“The challenge for companies in recruiting top talent, is determining the best places to recruit and attract talent,” said KellyOCG Senior VP Jim Bradley. “If a significant percentage of the talent is in the contingent work space, organizations need an efficient way to reach that talent and online talent communities fit this niche.”

“Integrating Elevate, and others, into our supply chain helps our clients access the rapidly expanding online workforce,” he said.

A Staffing Industry Analysts temporary worker survey found current usage of online staffing services may seem low, but survey responses may suggest potentially large, as yet unrealized, future participation.
