Kelly acquires RPO provider RocketPower

March 09, 2022

Staffing giant Kelly (NASDAQ: KELYA, KELYB) has acquired RocketPower, a provider of recruitment process outsourcing and other talent solutions with 2021 revenue of $28 million.

Based in San Francisco, RocketPower anticipates triple-digit growth in 2022 amid increased demand for RPO.

“We are excited to welcome RocketPower to Kelly; it’s a compelling proof point of the strategy behind the APAC transactions we announced last month to unlock capital and redeploy it to add high-margin, high-growth assets to our core businesses,” Kelly President and CEO Peter Quigley said.

RocketPower CEO Mathew Caldwell founded the company in 2016 after serving as VP of people and talent at Instacart. RocketPower’s clients include Logitech, Uber and Instacart. Plans call for RocketPower to continue operating under its own brand with its current leadership team and staff as part of KellyOCG.

“This acquisition significantly expands KellyOCG’s RPO solution and delivery offering across the globe and enhances our specialty RPO strategy and expertise and provides us with another entry point into the high-tech industry,” KellyOCG President Tammy Browning said.

Terms of the deal were not announced.
