IntelyCare taps HireNurses.com co-founder as chief clinical officer

August 25, 2021

IntelyCare, a talent platform providing nurses, named Rebecca Love as its chief clinical officer. Love is a co-founder of HireNurses.com and her 2018 TEDx Talk marked the first address by a nurse to be featured on the main TED.com platform, IntelyCare reported.

Love will advocate for nurses as well as oversee clinical operations and compliance on the platform.

“Too many nurses are suffering from burnout and leaving the profession every day. I think we’ve dealt with nurses for too long in an antiquated way, and we need to empower them so they can own their career,” Love said. “If we don't figure out how to retain nurses, allow them more flexibility with their schedules, and bring them back to the bedside, we’ll see people who need 24/7 care go without.”

Love is also president of the Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs and Leaders, a nonprofit group founded by nurses in the US, UK and Canada. Love also launched a nurse innovation and entrepreneurship program at the School of Nursing at Northeastern University.
