Insperity to provide $9 million in bonuses in wake of tax reform

February 09, 2018

Professional employer organization Insperity Inc. (NYSE: NSP) announced it will provide one-time bonuses to its employees, made possible through the US Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. The amount of the bonuses will range from $1,000 to $4,000 per employee, dependent upon the employee’s tenure with the company. The bonus amount totals approximately $9 million and will not be awarded to the management team and other senior leaders.

“Our employees are our most important asset and the reason we’ve been able to consistently offer a premium service offering to our clients and worksite employees, and achieve extraordinary financial results for our shareholders,” Chairman and CEO Paul Sarvadi said. “We are pleased to reward them for their dedication and hard work over the years, while also investing in our business for continued success.”

Sarvadi continued, “We believe the passage of tax reform is positive news and should provide for stronger growth of Insperity, the small business community and the broader US economy.”

The one-time bonuses will be excluded from Insperity’s reported 2018 adjusted EBITDA and adjusted earnings per share results.

Insperity is scheduled to release its fourth-quarter earnings report on Monday.
