Industrial Search Partners, a Connecticut-based search firm targeting industrial manufacturing and services, acquired Ference Partners, a Virginia/Metro DC-based recruiting firm founded by Patrick Ference.

The transaction closed March 29; terms were not disclosed.

Ference now becomes a managing partner with Industrial Search Partners. He has more than 25 years of experience in corporate leadership and senior executive search focusing on assignments largely in the industrial sector.

Industrial Search Partners is headquartered in Norwalk, Conn., with additional offices in New York City and now Metro DC. Targeted sectors include industrial manufacturing and services, transportation, supply chain and logistics, mining and metals, oil and gas, aerospace and defense and automotive.
