In tech: Beeline launches site, PeopleScout adds Affinix, Adecco discusses online staffing platform Yoss

November 10, 2017

In tech news, VMS provider Beeline is launching an online database and review site that will enable staffing buyers to find and review staffing suppliers. In addition, RPO provider PeopleScout is launching Affinix, a technology offering that provides a range of functionality for users. And Adecco leadership commented on its new Yoss online staffing platform during a conference call with analysts.

Beeline

Credible, a review site for staffing firms, was launched Oct. 31 by VMS provider Beeline. The site is a database of staffing suppliers and is designed to include feedback about staffing suppliers from staffing buyers that is viewable by other buyers. It’s at crediblehub.com, and it can be accessed by companies whether they use the Beeline or IQN VMS products or not.

Buyers can search for staffing suppliers based on location, specialty, industry, minority designation and other parameters. In turn, staffing suppliers can brand their profiles and add more information. Staffing firms can access the site for free or purchase a package to receive enhanced profile capabilities, market demand data and more.

When users search for staffing suppliers, the suppliers are displayed by best match based on filters such as relevance to the buyer, tier and then alphabetical order.

Right now, reviews on the site are a thumbs up or down with the ability to add comments. The reviews are done anonymously.

PeopleScout

PeopleScout, a division of TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI), is rolling out Affinix, a “proprietary tech stack” — a set of software components that sits atop a client’s applicant tracking system and uses artificial intelligence among its functionality.

That functionality includes AI-enabled sourcing; video interviews and digital assessments; digital and social recruitment marketing; predictive analytics and machine learning.

It’s designed as “mobile first” allowing hiring managers and candidates to engage from any device throughout the application, scheduling and screening process.

Adecco

In a conference call with analysts on Tuesday, Alain Dehaze, CEO of The Adecco Group said the company strengthened its partnership with Mya Systems, the developer of a chatbot and has rolled out Mya’s solutions to 11 customers in the US.

Dehaze also said the company’s new Yoss online staffing marketplace for freelancers and large enterprises launched in Amsterdam and is scheduled to launch Nov. 14 in France under a beta version. The company expects a full launch in the first quarter and an international rollout in the second half of 2018.
