IT professional services and staffing provider W3Global Inc. acquired Pro-Touch Nurses Inc. dba Protouch Staffing Inc., a healthcare staffing company headquartered in Plano, Texas.

The acquisition is a strategic expansion into a new vertical for W3Global. Protouch Staffing provides nurse and allied healthcare staffing in the Dallas, Houston and Chicago markets. It counts more than 1,000 clients and provides employment to more than 500 nurses annually.

The transaction closed June 28; terms were not disclosed.

“We believe that this acquisition will bring exceptional growth opportunities that are available in the ever-demanding healthcare staffing industry,” W3Global CEO Sridhar Venkatesan said.
