Temporary staffing hours worked in the US fell 8.0% in the week ended Jan. 6, compared to the previous week, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report. In addition, they were down 15% year over year.

However, the report cautioned that Indicator values are sensitive to the ways specific holidays fall. It’s expected that year-over-year market trends will become more apparent in the latter half of this month.
