Lawmakers recently took steps to terminate the employment authorization documents for holders of H-4 visas, which are issued to spouses of H-1B visa holders. Forbes reported there may be a Canadian solution for some of these immigrants that would involve the US employer transferring the H-1B visa holder to Canada to work for a year.
