US Citizenship and Immigration Services today resumed premium processing for all eligible visas H-1B petitions, which are used to bring highly skilled temporary workers such as IT professionals in to the US. Premium processing shortens the processing time to 15 days from an average of six months for a $1,410 filing fee.

USCIS temporarily suspended premium processing of all H-1B petitions in March 2018. In January, it published a final rule that brings changes to the H-1B visa process.
