Simon Blockley will be taking over as CEO of Guidant Global, a staffing and managed solutions business line that is part of the Impellam Group plc.

Blockley previously served as managing director of European operations at Guidant Global; he had joined the company in 2014. The new roles calls for him to oversee staffing services in more than 80 countries.

“This is a significant appointment for Guidant Global at a time when the company continues to make rapid progress in growing and transforming its portfolio across international markets,” said Julia Robertson, group CEO of Impellam Group.

Guidant Groups was recently formed from two companies coming together — US-based Bartech and UK-based Guidant Group. Impellam had acquired Bartech in a $120 million deal back in December 2015.
