Groupe Crit says US operations return to organic growth in Q4 of 2018

Groupe Crit reported revenue in its US business operations returned to organic growth in the fourth quarter of 2018, posting an increase of 2.2%. The US business The US business operations, which include Indiana-based staffing firm Peoplelink, are part of Paris-based Groupe Crit’s “international operations” category.

However, last year’s total international staffing revenue of €493.1 million (US$564.0 million) — including all its staffing businesses outside France — was down 1.4% because of unfavourable exchange rates, according to Groupe Crit. The company noted international revenue still rose 1.2% when adjusting for currencies and acquisitions.

Groupe Crit’s French staffing operations posted revenue growth on an organic basis of 2.8% last year to €1.57 billion (US$1.79 billion).

Total 2018 revenue at Groupe Crit, including both its staffing and other operations (such as airport services) was approximately €2.50 billion (US$2.86 billion).

Looking at just the fourth quarter, total revenue rose 2.7% to €632.7 million (US$723.7 million). The increase was 2.0% when adjusting for the impact of currencies and acquisitions.
