Groupe Crit 2017 revenue up 13%, cites favorable economic environment

Staffing provider Groupe Crit reported it should benefit from a favorable economic environment in France as well as the US as it announced final financial results for 2017. The Paris-based firm, which owns a controlling share in Indiana-based staffing provider PeopleLink, said it will make organic growth a priority in the US.

Groupe Crit reported 2017 revenue rose 12.7% year over year €2.42 billion (US$2.90 billion) in 2017; the increase was 8.5% on an organic basis. Staffing and recruitment revenue rose 10.7% to €2.03 billion (US$2.43 billion) in 2017.

Net profit for the year rose 10.8% in 2017 to €83.4 million (US$99.9 million).

Shares in Groupe Crit were up 8.78% at €83.00 at close of market in Europe. The company had a market cap of €921.72 million.
