Freelancer.com reported cash receipts rose 8% over the previous corresponding period in the fourth quarter to AUD 13.3 million (US$9.4 million), according to a regulatory filing today. In addition, the Sydney, Australia-based online staffing provider announced gross marketplace volume for its online staffing operations was AUD 33.0 million (US$23.2 million) in the fourth quarter, a record for the company.

The company reported its online staffing operation now has 31.4 million users and 15.1 million jobs posted. The average completed project size was US$205 in 2018.

Cash receipts for the company’s Escrow.com online payment processing division were up 19.2% in the fourth quarter. Gross payment volume on the platform was US$104 million, an increase of 28.2%.
