The four-week moving average of jobless claims last week fell by 500 from the previous week’s unrevised average to a total of 240,500, according to seasonally adjusted data from the US department of Labor.

Total jobless claims fell by 12,000 to a total of 232,000 from the previous week’s unrevised level. Bloomberg reported claims were at their lowest level since February.
