Online staffing firm Upwork Inc. (NASDAQ: UPWK) announced that Stephane Kasriel resigned from its board on March 10, according to a filing on Monday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Kasriel had previously stepped down from his role as president and CEO in December, and Hayden Brown had taken on the president and CEO titles effective Jan. 1.

Kasriel had served as president and CEO since April 2015.

Upwork in Monday’s filing said he had previously announced in December that he did not intend to stand for re-election at the company’s 2020 annual meeting. It also noted the resignation was not due to any disagreement with the company relating to its operations, policies or practices.
