Focus Search Partners acquires Dallas exec search firm

Focus Search Partners, A Vaco company, acquired executive search firm Taylor Winfield, based in Dallas. 

The deal doubles the size of the company and adds professionals with enterprise operating experience across multiple industries, including internet/digital media, technology/SaaS software, consumer/retail/ foodservice and business services. The transaction closed July 31 and terms were not disclosed.

Focus Search’s expertise is currently in executive recruiting for venture capital and private equity-backed and publicly-traded healthcare and technology organizations.

Taylor Winfield CEO Connie Adair will join the Focus Search Partners team. She has led Taylor Winfield in increasing annual revenues by an average of 26% consistently over the last four years.The company operates four offices: Dallas, Northern California, Silicon Valley and Houston. It counts 20 internal staff and makes more than 60 placements a year.

Taylor Winfield is Focus Search’s second acquisition since the purchase of Charlson Partners in March 2016, which expanded its nationwide footprint into the technology industry.
