Flexicrew Technical Services|Flexblue Staffing, a Metairie, Louisiana-based provider of technical staffing and talent acquisition, acquired Reliant Nationwide Staffing, a staffing provider based in Deer Park, Texas.

“We are excited to build on Reliant’s success and look forward to continuing to expand our footprint in Texas,” Brandon Smith, founder and president of FTS|Flexblue Staffing, said in a press release.

The deal closed on Oct 16.

Reliant Nationwide Staffing, founded in 2013, focuses on filling roles in several sectors, including industrial, construction and oil and gas.

As part of the deal, Reliant Nationwide Staffing VP Eric Wiegand will continue to lead the Reliant team in Deer Park and work alongside FTS|Flexblue Staffing in Houston.

“I’m excited to partner with FTS|Flexblue Staffing, as they have an outstanding platform,” Wiegand said in a press release. “We look forward to offering this new platform to our customers and raising the bar for quality and customer service. Together, we’ll evolve and continue our success with Brandon and his team.”

Terms of the transaction were not announced. Plans call for Reliant to ultimately transition to the Flexicrew Technical Services|Flexblue Staffing brand.

The move marks FTS|Flexblue Staffing’s second acquisition in 12 months. In late 2022, the company merged with New Orleans-based Technical Employment Services.

Founded in 2015, Flexicrew Technical Services has been featured on Inc. 5000’s list of fastest-growing companies in the US four times. Its sister company, Flexblue Staffing, recruits talent for light industrial, manufacturing, warehouse and skilled trade positions.
