The US Federal Reserve held off on another increase in interest rates on Sept. 21, The Hill reported. The Federal Open Market Committee kept baseline borrowing costs in the 5.25% to 5.5% range as it attempts to fight inflation. Fed officials still expect to raise rates once more before the end of the year.
