EmployBridge today formally announced Joanie Courtney joined the firm as president and chief operations officer for its professional services division. Included in the division are EmployBridge’s RemX Specialty Staffing and the company’s energy brands: Decca Energy, Resdin Industries and Vaughan Consulting Group.

Courtney joins EmployBridge after serving as senior VP of global market insights for Monster Worldwide Inc. (NYSE: MWW). She has also held roles at Randstad and Adecco prior to Monster.

“Strong leadership and brand growth have been the hallmark of Joanie’s 20-year career,” EmployBridge CEO Tom Bickes said in a statement. “I’m confident that her out-of-the-box thinking and experience in developing high-profile brands in both professional and commercial staffing will bring enormous benefits to the company and our professional divisions.”

Atlanta-based EmployBridge ranks on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest US staffing firms.
