Kranect, a Denver-based IT staffing firm, was sold effective Jan. 1 to KORE1, an Irvine, Calif.-based provider of IT, creative and engineering staffing. Kranect’s CEO and founder, Rolf Kramer, is taking on  the role of managing partner at KORE1, leading the company’s new Colorado operations.

Kramer has more than 20 years of experience in the staffing industry and founded Kranect in 2012.

“This acquisition represents an exciting new era for the Denver tech industry,” Kramer said. “As 2018 gets underway, there’s no doubt in my mind that our supportive ‘Friends of Kranect’ will quickly become ‘Friends of KORE1.’”

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
