Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASDAQ: CCRN) announced today that it closed its acquisitions of Mint Medical Physician Staffing LP and Lotus Medical Staffing LLC. Cross Country had first announced the acquisitions of Mint and Lotus Medical last month.

Houston-based Mint provides locum tenens staffing, while Lotus Medical, based in West Palm Beach, Florida, provides locum tenens and permanent placement staffing.

Cross Country ranks as the sixth-largest US healthcare staffing firm, according to Staffing Industry Analysts.
