Medefis Inc., a vendor management system provider to the healthcare industry, signed a VMS agreement with Carondelet Health Network, a Tucson, Ariz.-based operator of hospitals and other healthcare operations in Southern Arizona.

Medefis will manage procurement of clinical staffing and serve as a single point of contact for all healthcare staffing vendors.

“Our VMS program will provide Carondelet with an integrated procurement management solution that streamlines and standardizes each facet of staffing from order processing, reporting, invoicing, quality initiatives and payment processing,” said Medefis President and CEO Stephen Saville.

Carondelet serves 1.5 million people in a four-county area in southern Arizona and had operating revenue of $637.1 million in fiscal year 2010.
