Cloudteam acquired AddisonEmerson Staffing, effective Oct. 1. AddisonEmerson provides IT technicians specializing in cable/telecom infrastructure.

“Their expertise with staffing cable technology and infrastructure construction technicians enhances our offerings in this highly specialized market, allowing Cloudteam to expand its scope of services and add to its existing customer portfolio,” Cloudteam co-founder and CEO Lou Exline said.

Cloudteam provides contract staffing for professionals in all types of jobs including IT, engineering and medical. It also operates a proprietary software platform that facilitates online staffing for its direct and VMS clients.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The AddisonEmerson Staffing brand will not remain; however, its president, Rob Cash, will assume the same role at Cloudteam. Both firms are based in Tampa, Fla.

AddisonEmerson counts less than $5 million in annual revenue. After the acquisition, Cloudteam will make about 200 contract staffing placements annually and have almost $15 million in revenue.
