City Council revisits temporary staffing decision (Times Free Press)

October 10, 2017

The Chattanooga City Council will today reconsider its decision to exclude MSi Workforce Solutions as part of a $1.8 million temporary staffing blanket contract which also included Outsource Staffing, the Times Free Press reported. The council voted to exclude the company after concerns were raised that included the companys short track record — it was formed one year ago — and the actual number of employees it could provide. On Friday, MSi President and CEO J. Marty Lowe said the company was “extremely disappointed” when the council “unexpectedly” removed it from the dual staffing contract recommended by city staff.
