Cielo promotes exec to lead Americas

January 26, 2017

RPO provider Cielo promoted Marissa Geist to executive VP and managing director of the Americas. Geist is also now a member of the company’s global executive team, leading sales, delivery and operations in the Americas, which encompasses the North America and Latin America regions.

Geist steps in for Angela Hills, who moved from managing director of the Americas to the role of Cielo’s chief revenue officer.

Geist previously was Cielo’s senior VP of global operations, where she refined the firm’s global operating model. Prior to joining Cielo, she spent 11 years at ManpowerGroup in a number of senior roles, finishing as VP of client programs.

Geist’s promotion follows record growth in the Americas over the past 18 months, according to Cielo.

“Since joining us to start 2015, Marissa has made strong contributions to our ability to predict, fulfill and exceed our clients’ needs,” founder and CEO Sue Marks said. “With almost 15 years of experience in our industry, Marissa has a unique ability to keep our employees and clients at the forefront of all business decisions. We are confident she will capitalize on our global investments in our people, our footprint, our technology and our systems to support our growth.”

Pinstripe, a Brookfield, Wis.-based provider of recruitment process outsourcing, and UK-based Ochre House, which Pinstripe acquired in July 2013, rebranded to the Cielo brand in 2014.
