RPO firm Cielo acquired the Peridus Group, an HR technology consulting firm based in Minneapolis. Peridus has partnered with Cielo for the last two years to offer Cielo’s clients consulting in Workday, HR strategy and other technical areas involving HR.

The deal closed on April 29.

“Cielo has a proven track record in HR technology leadership, and I look forward to our combined success,” said Caleb Fullhart, founder and CEO of Peridus.

Fullhart will join Cielo as senior VP-consulting along the rest of the Peridus team. That team also includes Robin Schooling, who is joining Cielo as VP-consulting as well.

Both Fullhart and Schooling will work with Elaine Orler, managing director-consulting, who joined Cielo in 2020 amid its acquisition of Talent Function.

The brand will operate as “Peridus – a Cielo company” through the near future, but it will eventually sunset, the company said.

“With so many of our clients moving to Workday ATS or looking for integrations in their talent acquisition tech stack, the experience Peridus Group brings, combined with Cielo’s existing expertise, will be invaluable in advancing our clients’ goals, fueling our continued growth,” Cielo CEO Marisa Geist said.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
