CareerBuilder named Kyle Braun as president of the company’s staffing and recruiting group. He replaces Eric Gilpin, who left his position as president at CareerBuilder — overseeing the staffing and healthcare sales divisions — to join online staffing provider Upwork as senior VP of sales.

Braun joined CareerBuilder in 2002 and held key leadership roles in sales and business development for the company. He most recently served as director, overseeing CareerBuilder’s staffing and recruiting major accounts. In this role, Braun was responsible for strategy, team development and overall sales efforts across the US and Canada.

“He has worked closely with staffing and recruiting firms for several years, developing a keen understanding of the challenges they face and applying his expertise in designing the right recruitment technology solutions for each firm,” CareerBuilder said in a statement.
