CareerBuilder acquired Aurico, a background screening and drug testing provider serving US and international clients.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Aurico, founded in 1991, is headquartered in Chicago.

“Becoming a part of the CareerBuilder family will enable us to quickly scale our business and bring new options to our clients,” said Aurico CEO Ben Goldberg.

Aurico’s screening solutions are configurable and can integrate with CareerBuilder’s pre-hire platform or a client’s existing applicant tracking system or human resource information system. They can also be purchased as stand-alone solutions.
