CPC Logistics, a provider of truck driver and warehouse personnel services, acquired Sacramento, Calif.-based Quality Driver Solutions Inc., or QDS.

QDS provides temporary and long-term drivers in California, Texas, Denver, Memphis, Nashville, Phoenix, Charlotte and Atlanta.

The transaction closed today; terms were not disclosed. The management team will remain in place except for founder and former owner Ernesto Lopez, who is retiring.

CPC Logistics expects QDS, with 12 branch locations throughout the western and southern US, to complement the temporary and flex driver services it already provides under its Consolidated Logistics Solutions brand. QDS and Consolidated Logistics Solutions will combine under the Quality Driver Solutions brand and will be based in Chesterfield, Mo. The combined company will establish a national service footprint for Quality Driver Solutions going forward.

CPC Logistics and its affiliated companies provide permanent and temporary truck driver and warehouse personnel services, as well as driver and fleet management services. Its subsidiary companies include CPC Logistics Canada, Quality Driver Services, TMH Transport, TMH Logistics and In Transit Personnel.
