CDI and IBM Sign New, Three-Year Deal

CDI Corp. (NYSE: CDI) reported it signed a new, three-year information technology staffing agreement with IBM, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Under the deal “CDI continues as a predominant supplier to the client’s global business services and global technology services lines of business,” according to the filing. CDI’s previous deal with IBM began in 2005.

There is no minimum or guaranteed amount of business under the new contract and hourly wages to be charged depend on a number of factors including job category, skill level of particular workers and geographical area, according to the filing.

The new contract takes effect Dec. 31.

CDI reported that IBM accounted for 20 percent of its total revenue for the year ended Dec. 31, 2010, according to its last 10-Q filing with the SEC.
