October 24, 2018

British Columbia government on Tuesday introduced the Temporary Foreign Worker Protection Act in the British Columbia legislature, which would create a registry of employers and recruitment agencies active in the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, The Star newspaper reported. If the act ultimately receives approval, recruitment agencies working to bring foreign workers to the province of British Columbia will have to apply for licenses and employers will have to register in order to take part in the program.
