Six companies have won positions on a potential five-year, $48 million contract to provide temporary physician staffing services to the US Army, GovCon Wire reports. The Army Medical Command received 14 bids for the shared firm-fixed-price contract via an online solicitation. Contractors will recruit physicians from various medical specialties to provide healthcare services at the Army’s medical treatment facilities within the continental US.
