Amazon is shutting its Amazon Flex program in Germany, Bloomberg reported. Amazon Flex paid independent contractor workers to ship packages using their own vehicles from Amazon warehouses to customers’ homes. Some Amazon Flex drivers are receiving a one-time payment equal to four weeks’ pay. Bloomberg noted Germany is Amazon’s second-largest market after the US.
