Aleron — a new brand that encompasses the group of companies previously known as Superior Group — announced this week the hiring of a chief information officer and a new VP of enterprise sales strategy and delivery.

Peter Capelli was named as chief information officer. Capelli most recently served as VP of the IT Network and Infrastructure at Catholic Health System of Western New York.

In addition, the firm appointed James Nichiporuk as VP of enterprise sales strategy and delivery for the company’s Superior Talent Resources operations.

Nichiporuk has almost 20 years of solution selling and staffing industry experience. He most recently served at Computer Task Group, where he was responsible for the US staffing division and global recruiting organization. Nichiporuk has also served at other staffing providers, including Adecco and PEAK Technical Staffing.

Superior Group ranks among the largest US staffing firms, and announced the new Aleron brand last September. However, the Buffalo, NY-based company is also maintaining distinct brands for each of its core offerings — including Broadleaf Results, Superior Talent Resources (dba Superior Group), Superior Design, Superior IT Innovations, Viaduct and others.
