Advanced Clinical expands clinical operations leadership

June 07, 2016

Advanced Clinical added two members to new positions on its clinical operations leadership team. The Deerfield, Ill.-based clinical development organization provides global services, including clinical staffing.

Advanced Clinical appointed Cheryle Evans to senior VP, clinical and medical operations, effective May 17, and added Sheri Madrid as executive director, clinical operations, effective May 23.

“As Advanced Clinical continues to expand our services to clients, it is imperative our leadership team is strategically aligned and positioned to match our growth,” said President Julie Ross.

Evans joined Advanced Clinical in July 2013 and most recently served as VP, clinical operations. Her new scope of responsibilities will include leading the advanced clinical CRO and its operations.

“Cheryle's experience in leading and managing global clinical operations combined with her innovative and path-finding accomplishments in business process automation and RBM has been critical to Advanced continued success and as such, this position is a natural fit,” Ross said.

Madrid will oversee project management and clinical monitoring. She most recently was senior manager, clinical field operations at Medtronic.

“Sheri brings wide-ranging experience to Advanced Clinical in leading clinical monitoring and project management teams for a Fortune 500 global medical technology and device organization,” Ross said. “She has been instrumental in building and expanding clinical operations teams into new geographies as well as executing monitoring strategies worldwide.”
