The Adecco Group appointed Eileen Sweeney as head of Adecco US. Sweeney will lead the senior leadership team in the US and report to Corinne Ripoche, regional president of the Adecco Group. Sweeney will be based in Atlanta.

“Eileen’s impressive track record in driving business transformations and future-forward solutions across high-demand sectors makes her a natural fit for Adecco in the US,” Ripoche said.

Sweeney has more than 20 years of experience and comes to Adecco from Capgemini, where she most recently held the role of executive VP. She has also held roles at Virtustream, a Dell Technologies company; Iron Mountain; and CSC.

“I’m excited to be working with the US team as we continue our transformation journey to become a truly digital HR solutions company,” Sweeney said. “Our clients expect even more from us as we help them navigate through the uncertainties of skills shortages, the Covid-19 pandemic and the need for more innovative workforce solutions.”

Separately, Adecco last week announced the expansion of its LHH brand to include its professional recruitment brands, starting with legal staffing brand Special Counsel.
