August 12, 2020

The Adecco Group announced new executive appointments for its Pontoon, LHH and General Assembly divisions. Christoph Niebel is the new president of Pontoon, a provider of RPO and MSP, effective Sept. 1. Niebel joins Pontoon from LHH, Adecco’s talent development and career transition business, where he served as executive VP and chief sales officer.

Niebel will report to Corinne Ripoche, CEO of Adecco Americas and Pontoon.

“Christoph is a purpose-oriented leader with a passion for driving workforce transformation,” Ripoche said. “During his time with the group, he has built a strong reputation as a change agent who inspires teams to challenge the status quo, embrace disruptive technologies and deliver outstanding customer experiences.”

Niebel is a native of Germany and first joined Adecco in 2009 as a business development manager for LHH in Sydney. He relocated to the US in 2013.

Meanwhile, LHH announced the promotion of Michelle Anthony to chief revenue officer. Anthony joined the company in 2018 as head of global marketing and was promoted to chief marketing officer in 2019.

Anthony will report to Ranjit de Sousa, president of LHH.

“She spearheaded our successful global brand refresh in 2020 and has built a mature demand generation function that delivered double digit revenue in its first year alone,” de Sousa said. “Michelle's prior experience includes successfully managing a global sales team of 800 people in the tech sector where she was responsible for a $900 million P&L.”
