Computer game maker Activision Blizzard Inc. announced that it will convert nearly 1,100 US-based temporary and contingent quality assurance workers to permanent full-time employees beginning July 1, The Verge reported. The minimum hourly rate for these roles will be $20, and that is taking effect earlier, on April 17. A similar move was made by Epic Games last year.
