AMN revenue up 4% in fourth quarter; $800 million for year from MSP

Fourth-quarter revenue rose 4.3% at AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AMN), the San Diego, Calif.-based firm that ranks as the largest US healthcare staffing provider. Nurse and allied staffing revenue as well as locum tenens solutions revenue rose in the fourth quarter, and the company reported revenue rose by 4.5% in its “other workforce solutions” businesses that include VMS, physician perm placement, RPO, medical coding and other services.

Looking at the full year, AMN noted MSP revenue reached $800 million in 2017 and represented 40% of consolidated revenue.
