AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS), the largest US healthcare staffing provider, named Kelly Rakowski as president, leadership and search solutions, a new role within the company.

Rakowski will lead AMN’s interim leadership, physician permanent placement, recruitment process outsourcing and executive search solutions. She will report directly to CEO Susan Salka.

“Kelly will work to ensure all our leadership and search solutions businesses are optimized and evolving to help our clients meet their operational and strategic challenges and provide the best care possible for their patients,” Salka said.

Rakowski most recently served as senior VP of advisory and collaborative services at healthcare improvement company Premier Inc. Prior to that, she led healthcare consulting groups with several firms including EY/Capgemini, GE Healthcare, Accenture and Xerox.
