Kersten Buck is senior vice president of global strategic solutions for Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). Buck and her team are responsible for driving SIA’s suite of strategic solutions. Drawing on her over 20 years of domestic and global experience in the industry, Buck is known for her commitment to enterprise stakeholders and strategic vision, working with clients to build strategic plans designed to amplify their brands and fully utilize offerings through SIA product solutions.

Joining SIA in 2011 as the senior director of global strategic accounts, Buck has been a major contributor to SIA’s growth and is the recipient of SIA’s 2016 Employee of the Year Award, Crain’s 2021 Q2 MVP Award and a two-time winner of the Crain Communications President’s Pick for her achievements in sales. Prior to SIA, she had executive positions encompassing the areas of sales, operations, outsourcing solutions, consulting, independent contractor compliance, global managed service provider (MSP) services and implementations. These experiences gave Buck hands-on practice in translating client needs to operational solutions. This resulted in heightened program performance as well as continued improvements in cost reduction, program adoption and supplier participation.

Buck graduated with a Bachelor of Science in resource economics from the University of California, Berkley. She resides in Aptos Hills, California with her husband, three daughters, a dog and two cats. She enjoys being outdoors gardening, skiing, hiking and just enjoying the sunshine.
